This is important: you MUST have a good sports bra to begin with! The Janestrap is for women who have a good sports bra but still find they have excessive breast bounce.
A good sports bra is one that is not too old. If you have had your sports bra for more than 1 year you should get a new one. The elasticity and support of the bra wear out with time. It needs to be made of supportive fabric. If, when you wear Janestrap, your boobies get squashed out below, then you do not have a good sports bra. The fabric of your sports bra is simply not good enough. If you do have a good, relatively new sports bra and your boobies still get squashed out below then your Janestrap may be too small.
Technically, your bra band size should be the same size as the measurement just above your breasts. For Janestrap, you need to know your above breast measurement which, technically, is your band size. See Customer Service for help in sizing. You should measure just to be certain. If you are a 37 ¾ “ inch then you could wear a small worn on the smallest hooks or you could wear a medium on the largest hook. Also depends on if you are currently losing weight. If it is too small, just send it back to us with an email noting the issue and we will gladly send you out a new size!
It is worn over your sports bra by wrapping around the chest and fastening in the middle just above your breasts. Position of the Janestrap is critical to its effectiveness. You can swing the bra fasteners around to your back for a clean, smooth line.
It is to be washed in cold water and hung to dry just like your sports wear. No ironing, no chlorine bleach.
It is really important to try jumping with the Janestrap on and with it off….you really notice the difference.
